On February 10th my cultural no-profit Association POURQUOIPAS launched the crowdfunding campaign for raising money in support of my dear friend and renowned violinist Corinne Chapelle, affected by a cancer which needs targeted, urgent and expensive treatments.
The campaign was supported since the beginning by generous colleagues and friends such as Vilde Frang, Nicola Benedetti, Nicolas Altstaedt, Salvatore Accardo, Steven Isserlis (see the complete list below) who made powerful calls to action. Thanks to articles on important newspaper such as The Times, The Strad, The Herald Scotland, Radio France Musique, The Violin Channel among others (see the complete list below), we could reach in one week 1/3 of the target and 50% of it in 17 days.
The way is still long: we need the support from as much as people as possible. Any amount is welcome.
