VIOLIN LESSONS

I take a holistic approach to teaching the violin, where technique serves the music, and awareness of body and mind is essential in preparing for concerts, auditions, or competitions. During the lesson, we’ll explore any aspect of music and performance that interests you—from violin and bow technique to musical expression and personal interpretation. Together, we’ll find strategies to overcome technical and mental challenges in a fun, engaging, and sustainable way.  My goal is to support you in developing your unique musical voice, always aligned with your vision, needs, and curiosity.

Lessons can be easily booked via the calendar below and can be done online or in presence in Winterthur (ZH), Switzerland.
Availability is posted on a rolling basis, always showing the upcoming month.

To book a lesson, simply select an available slot and complete the booking process.
Each lesson lasts 1 hour and costs CHF 150.–.

PRE-COLLEGE VIOLIN CLASS AT THE KONSERVATORIUM WINTERTHUR

Irene was appointed professor at the Winterthur Conservatory in January 2023, with focus on the advanced and Pre-College programs.

An important institution with 150 years of history, the Konservatorium Winterthur, and especially the violin class of Aida Stücki starting in 1948, raised generations of professional musicians, including world-famous violinist Anne-Sophie Mutter, which began to study with Aida at the age of nine years. POURQUOIPAS: The Academy

In 2015 Irene founded the no-profit cultural association POURQUOIPAS around the belief of the social responsibility of the music. 

The association is based in Switzerland and collaborates with Foundations, Institutions and artistic organizations all over the world such as the UNHCR and the CIO. If you want to take part of "The Academy" teaching sessions, please visit www.pour-quoi-pas.com.

VIOLIN MASTERCLASS AROUND THE WORLD

For many years Irene have been active in the world of the music education, working in Italy, Switzerland, Lithuania, India, Brazil, the United States, and Colombia. The goal is to support organizations and reach as many as possible young people through workshops, masterclasses, partnership projects, and school visits providing key moments of inspiration for young instrumentalists, as well as focused, high-quality teaching and guidance. Through these events, we discuss, share and support solutions about the balance between the two main topics in music pedagogy in order to reach the most powerful music-making: the discipline required to master the violin technique, and the fire of passion and freedom of expression. We look into future events with the goal of encouraging collaboration, promoting the sharing of ideas and best practices, and always looking for ways to support people and organizations to deliver high-quality music-making events for the young generation.
