Irene will come back for the third time in the legendary Carnegie Hall in New York with Salvatore Di Vittorio conducting the Chamber Orchestra of New York. On the program, Vaughan Williams Lark Ascending for violin and orchestra.

Irene appears in the SRF Kultur show "Im Konzertsaal" featuring the 2024 edition of the Pfingstefestival Schloss Brunegg. On the program, the three Romances by Clara Schumann (430hz), the Piano Quartet op.47 by Robert Schumann (430 hz) and the Duo for violin and viola Love Letters by contemporary Swiss composer Alfred Felder (world première).
Irene plays with Gilles Vonsattel (fortepiano), Jürg Dähler (viola) and Joël Marosi (cello).

Beethoven Violin Concerto Debut
During the 24-25 Season Irene will debut the Beethoven Violin Concerto: the 15th of December at the Victoria Hall, the monumental concert hall in Geneva, and on the 16th of December in the Turin Conservatory with Antonmario Semolini and Virtuosi dell'Accademia di San Giovanni.

Lucignano Music Festival - A Celebration of Beauty and Inclusion
The Lucignano Music Festival under the artistic direction of Irene Abrigo took place from 25 to 28 of September, successfully combining the magic of music with essential values like beauty and inclusion. The event featured a diverse lineup of artists who delivered captivating performances, creating a unique atmosphere that inspired and engaged the audience. Beyond enjoying great music, attendees reflected on how culture can break down social barriers and foster community. Through workshops, discussions, and artistic showcases, the festival highlighted music as a universal language that unites people from all walks of life. With its varied audience, from young to old, the festival reinforced the importance of music as a vehicle for positive messages!

Closing Besançon Festival La Via Musica
Irene is replacing 1st violin Bogdan Bozovic leading the WSQ - Winterthur String Quartet and baroque wind players for the closing concert of the first part of La Via Musica Festival in Besançon. On the program, the 29th Symphony from Mozart as well as Piano concertos K449 and K450 with forte-pianist and conductor Arthur Schoonderwoert playing on an original instrument from 18th century. For the first time in 100 years of the WSQ, a woman will lead the group as 1st violin. For this project the WSQ plays on original Jacobus Stainer instruments (1750 - 90) and gut strings.
