BIOGRAPHY
Winner of the prestigious Respighi Prize and laureate of numerous international competitions, Italian-Swiss violinist Irene Abrigo has performed at Carnegie Hall, collaborated with leading institutions and chamber musicians, and premiered works by renowned contemporary composers. Known for her expressive sound, technical mastery, and artistic versatility, she brings depth to both classical and modern repertoire. Mentored by acclaimed artists such as Corina Belcea, Heinz Holliger, Enrico Onofri, and Jürg Dähler, she has developed a refined and personal musical vision. Beyond the stage, she is deeply committed to cultural outreach, education, and social responsibility, using music as a powerful tool for connection and change.
