PRE-COLLEGE VIOLIN CLASS AT THE KONSERVATORIUM WINTERTHUR

Irene was appointed professor at the Winterthur Conservatory in January 2023, with focus on the advanced and Pre-College programs. An important institution with 150 years of history, the Konservatorium Winterthur, and especially the violin class of Aida Stücki starting in 1948, raised generations of professional musicians, including world-famous violinist Anne-Sophie Mutter, which began to study with Aida at the age of nine years. POURQUOIPAS: The Academy

In 2015 Irene founded the no-profit cultural association POURQUOIPAS around the belief of the social responsibility of the music.

For many years, Irene has been active in music education across Italy, Switzerland, Lithuania, India, Brazil, the United States, and Colombia. Her mission is to support organizations and inspire young musicians through workshops, masterclasses, partnerships, and school visits—combining high-quality teaching with moments of genuine inspiration. These events explore the essential balance in music pedagogy: the discipline needed to master violin technique and the passion that fuels free expression.
